Acera Surgical Selects Telos Partners to Develop and Manage Clinical Trial on Its Restrata™ Wound Matrix

Telos Partners, LLC, a firm providing scientific, regulatory and publication services to the life sciences industry, has been selected by Acera Surgical to lead its Restrata™ wound matrix study titled: “Clinical Outcomes after Treatment with Restrata™ in Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU): A Case Series of Initial Effectiveness and Safety Measures.”
The clinical trial is a multi-center, single-arm study designed to evaluate 12-week outcomes after applying Acera’s Restrata™ Wound Matrix to patients with diabetic foot ulcers (DFU). Restrata™ is a next generation, fully synthetic wound matrix which was FDA cleared for wound indications in April 2017.

Kurt Burgess, Partner at Telos Partners, LLC, will join life science leaders in discussing the critical role peer-reviewed publications play in creating business value. The forum will be hosted by the J&J Innovation consortium whose mission is to empower and enable the dissemination of research across the globe. The interactive conference, Publish or Perish – Creating Value through Publications, will explore the how, why and when of successful publication strategies.
Mr. Burgess’ talk will focus on how to construct roadmaps and timelines for achieving peer-reviewed publications that highlight key product benefits. Additional members of the Telos Partners team will also attend to share their experiences in publishing and exchange ideas on how to accelerate the publication process.
